Night Care

Night Care

If you or a loved one requires home care support, there is a possibility they may benefit from night care support too.

What does night home care provide?

We are able to offer various night care options for our clients, including but not limited to the following:

Sleeping Night

A sleeping night service is where the night time carer sleeps at your home for a minimum of 9 hours and although the carer will be allowed to sleep, they are also on call should you need them.  This service also gives you peace of mind that the house has been secured, and that the person being supported is safe.

If it is found that the person being cared for requires more support throughout the night than a sleeping carer would provide, this would then be reassessed and a waking night may be more suitable (please see below).

Waking Night

A waking night services is where the night time carer remains awake for the duration of the night call, a minimum of 10 hours.  This service is more suited to people who have disturbed sleep or may need medication for pain or require personal care throughout the night.  This service also gives you peace of mind that the house has been secured, and that the person being supported is safe.

What’s next?

If this is the type of support you or a loved one requires.  We would suggest contacting your local social services department for a needs assessment and a financial assessment. To see whether you are eligible for support in paying for your care from your local authority.  Alternatively, you are able to contact us direct on the details below, if you wish to pay privately for your care.
